Company Overview

Bloom has been engaged by a well-established Commercial Landscape company in the Alpharetta, Georgia market to identify and hire a Project Manager to support their growing landscape construction division.

This organization specializes in commercial landscape and irrigation installation projects ranging from small-site improvements to large-scale developments. The company offers a collaborative, team-oriented culture with strong leadership support and clear opportunities for professional growth.

Position Overview

The Project Manager will report directly to company ownership and will be responsible for managing multiple landscape installation projects from planning through completion. This role requires strong organizational skills, leadership capability, and the ability to manage project financial performance while coordinating closely with Superintendents, crews, subcontractors, and clients.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment, communicates effectively, and takes ownership of project outcomes from both an operational and financial standpoint.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Operations

  • Manage multiple landscape construction projects simultaneously from kickoff through closeout
  • Coordinate Superintendents, field crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery
  • Oversee scheduling, materials procurement, equipment planning, and labor coordination
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
  • Conduct periodic site visits to monitor progress and maintain quality standards
  • Manage change orders, project documentation, and project reporting

Financial & Performance Management

  • Monitor project budgets, job costing, and profitability
  • Track production performance and ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and optimize project margins
  • Maintain accountability for financial performance across assigned projects

Client & Team Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with developers, general contractors, architects, and property managers
  • Communicate project updates, timelines, and expectations clearly and proactively
  • Support team development through leadership, coaching, and training

Process & Continuous Improvement

  • Support implementation of operational tools and technology to improve efficiency
  • Maintain strong documentation and reporting standards
  • Promote safety, compliance, and professional conduct across all project activities
  • Contribute to process improvements that support company growth

Qualifications

Required

  • Experience as a Project Manager, Superintendent, or construction operations leader
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and leadership capabilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction-related software
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Horticulture, or related field
  • Experience in commercial landscape construction
  • Experience with Bluebeam or Land Scaling
  • Spanish language proficiency
  • Excel proficiency
  • LMN proficiency
