Bloom Talent Solutions is proud to partner with a growing commercial landscaping organization seeking an Enhancement Manager (Irrigation Oversight) to lead enhancement operations while providing functional leadership and coordination support to the irrigation team.
Role Overview
The Enhancement Manager is responsible for leading the company’s enhancement operations across commercial maintenance accounts while providing interim leadership and coordination support to the irrigation team. This role bridges sales execution, operational delivery, and financial discipline to ensure enhancement projects are delivered profitably, on schedule, and in alignment with the company’s evolving systems and culture.
Key Responsibilities
Enhancement Operations & Delivery
- Oversee enhancement projects from handoff through closeout
- Schedule crews, subcontractors, and irrigation support as needed
- Ensure quality execution, safety compliance, and on-time delivery
- Partner with commercial install teams on larger or phased projects
Financial & Margin Accountability
- Own gross margin performance for enhancement work
- Separate and track true enhancement revenue versus pass-through materials
- Enforce PO discipline for all materials and subcontracted work
- Collaborate with leadership on reporting, forecasting, and continuous improvement
Irrigation Leadership (Oversight / Interim)
- Provide leadership, scheduling support, and troubleshooting for irrigation technicians
- Coordinate irrigation resources in support of enhancement projects
- Assess team capability and help define future irrigation leadership structure
- Ensure licensing, compliance, and technical standards are upheld
Account Manager Collaboration
- Support Account Managers with estimating, scoping, and execution planning
- Maintain clean handoffs and shared accountability
- Participate in final inspections and post-project reviews
- Reinforce Account Managers as the client’s primary point of contact
Culture & Team Leadership
- Lead enhancement crews with clarity, structure, and accountability
- Eliminate blame culture and reinforce ownership and problem-solving
- Uphold company values and performance expectations
- Help distinguish and develop team members aligned with growth
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in commercial landscape enhancements and/or operations
- Strong understanding of margins, P&Ls, and job costing
- Experience working alongside irrigation teams (hands-on or leadership)
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments
- Systems-minded with experience in ERP, work order platforms, and PO structures
- Leadership mindset with ambition to grow into expanded responsibility
Compensation and Benefits
- Base Salary: ~$90,000 (flexible based on experience)
- Vehicle: Company vehicle or appropriate stipend (truck-capable)
