Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, highly organized and dynamic Construction Project Manager to join our team. Your expertise in landscape construction will be an invaluable contribution. Our CPMs oversee job planning and estimating, procurement, schedules for multiple crews, client communication, and post job data. We run a tight ship and use a combination of software and Google Workspace to make that possible. Your can-do attitude and love for problem solving and innovation will be an asset to success, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for our crews. The specific tasks and responsibilities for this position may evolve over time to meet office needs.

Responsibilities:
- Project Planning, Cost Estimation and Budgeting:
- Serve as a technical resource on landscape construction methods, material specifications, equipment selection, and best installation practices.
- Collaborate with design teams, foremen and clients to understand project requirements and expectations.
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive construction cost estimates.
- Manage timely data collection to fine-tune our pricing models.
- Keep our product offerings and pricing up to date in company software.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
- Project Management and Execution: Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Create and maintain project schedules. Coordinate with the installation team to allocate resources, track progress, and resolve any issues during the project.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure seamless communication and coordination from design to the installation phase.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
- Operational Strategy and Planning:
- Collaborate with the executive team to identify areas for operational improvement and implement streamlined processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Demonstrate a positive role model for all employees by reinforcing best practices and business culture
- Provide oversight of operations and training related to equipment, landscaping, hardscaping and carpentry.
- Vendor and Client Management:
- Identify and evaluate vendors, establish strong partnerships to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply chain management.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction with our services.
- Foster positive relationships with team members, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Position may perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in operations management in the landscape construction or closely related industry.
- Proven expertise in landscape construction practices, construction detailing, material selection, and proper use of tools and heavy equipment.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent leadership and team-building abilities, with a track record of successfully managing and developing a cohesive team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Schedule: 7:30 AM-6 PM, Monday - Thursday, Winter/summer start/end times vary.
- Rate commensurate with experience, starting at $65K
