About Our Client

Our client is a well-established, Charlotte-based commercial landscaping company with over 40 years of experience serving developers and property management professionals. They specialize in landscape maintenance, design and installation, irrigation, and stormwater management, with offices across multiple markets in the Southeast.

They are currently seeking a Landscape Project Manager to join their Charlotte, NC team and lead the successful execution of commercial landscape construction and hardscape projects while ensuring high-quality service across their portfolio.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee day-to-day operations for assigned landscape construction and hardscape projects from kickoff through completion
  • Manage project schedules, labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to ensure efficient jobsite execution
  • Coordinate site preparation, grading, drainage, layout, and installation activities for hardscape and landscape construction projects
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, property managers, general contractors, and internal teams regarding project status, schedules, and field issues
  • Perform regular site inspections to ensure quality standards, safety compliance, and contract specifications are consistently met
  • Coordinate the procurement and delivery of hardscape materials, plant material, irrigation components, and other project supplies
  • Monitor project timelines, labor hours, production targets, and budgets to support profitability and on-time completion
  • Lead and develop field teams by providing coaching, training, and performance feedback on safety, installation quality, and productivity
  • Review plans, specifications, contracts, and scope of work to ensure projects are executed accurately and efficiently
  • Complete and review daily reports, time sheets, production tracking, and job costing information for assigned crews and projects
  • Track material usage, change orders, equipment needs, and field conditions, and communicate recommendations to leadership and clients
  • Ensure vehicles, trailers, construction equipment, and tools are properly maintained, inspected, and repaired as needed
  • Support project turnover, punch-list completion, and client walkthroughs to ensure a successful closeout
  • Promote a culture of accountability, craftsmanship, professionalism, and excellent customer service across all job sites
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and guidelines

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of landscape construction, hardscape, or related project management experience preferred
  • Proven experience managing commercial landscape construction and hardscape projects
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise crews, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain high construction quality standards
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients, property managers, general contractors, vendors, and team members
  • Ability to read plans, identify field issues proactively, solve problems efficiently, and make sound operational decisions
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active construction projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Knowledge of hardscape installation methods, grading and drainage, irrigation coordination, plant installation, and site quality standards
  • Ability to analyze labor, materials, equipment usage, and job performance to support efficient operations and profitability
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certifications in landscape construction, horticulture, or project management are a plus
  • Valid driver's license required with a clean driving record
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
  • Availability to work early mornings, occasional Saturdays, and in adverse weather conditions as needed

Work Environment
