Full-Time Horticulture Installer

Job Description:
We are looking for a full time (approximately 30+ hours) Horticulture Installer to join our team of experienced professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation of plants and flowers, green walls, moss art, holiday décor and special projects in the Chicagoland area. You will also be responsible for interacting with our business contacts and providing excellent customer service. Must have an excellent driving record.

A Day in the Life:
Your day will start with checking in with our Operations Manager, reviewing your schedule to see what installations and accounts you will be visiting that day and making sure you have all the necessary plants, flowers, hard goods, etc. loaded. You will then travel in a company vehicle alone or with a partner depending on the needs of the day. In addition to your delivery duties, you will be the client-facing representative of our company, effectively and efficiently communicating with our contacts about the reason for your visit and trying to resolve any issues if they arise. Paperwork needs to be turned in daily and a debrief with your operations manager is required.

Physical Demands:
This position requires physical labor. Applicant must be able to lift and carry the weight equivalent of 50 lbs., although most materials weigh much less. This job will require you to be able to bend, kneel, and/or reach, depending on the situation. You may also need to use a ladder occasionally.

Additional Information:
-A basic knowledge of plants is appreciated, though no prior Horticulture experience is required. However, a passion for plants and plant care is necessary!
-You must be able to work independently as well as on a team

-Excellent communication, both written and verbal, are integral to this position

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Work Location: Home base is our Oak Brook warehouse but various client visits daily
