Landscape Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, line trimming, edging, mulching, tree trimming, shrubbery pruning, and planting
• Use hand tools and power equipment for lawn care
• Perform snow shoveling during winter months to ensure safe access for clients and team members
• Support tree care activities including trimming, and removal
• Maintain equipment by conducting routine inspections, cleaning, and basic repairs as needed
• Collaborate with team members on planning, site preparation, and ongoing maintenance efforts

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various landscaping machinery
• Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, and horticulture practices are a plus but not a must
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, irrigation systems
• Knowledge of tree care techniques including trimming, pruning, and removal
• Ability to perform snow shoveling and applying ice melt safely during winter seasons
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments
• Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in landscaping and maintenance
