Bloom Talent Solutions is proud to partner with one of North America's leading commercial landscape service organizations to identify a Maintenance Field Operations Manager who will lead field operations, oversee landscape maintenance crews, and ensure exceptional service delivery across commercial properties.
This role is responsible for driving operational excellence by managing crews, maintaining quality standards, supporting client satisfaction, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Role Overview
The Maintenance Field Operations Manager oversees the daily execution of commercial landscape maintenance operations while leading and developing field teams.
Working closely with Account Managers and branch leadership, this position coordinates schedules, monitors quality, supports employee development, and ensures every property meets the company's service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Field Operations Management
- Lead and manage landscape maintenance crews to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality service.
- Coordinate daily schedules and crew assignments to maximize productivity.
- Monitor production, quality, and job completion to ensure client expectations are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop field employees.
- Foster a positive, safety-first culture focused on accountability and teamwork.
- Provide ongoing performance feedback and support employee growth.
- Ensure crews follow company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
Client & Operational Excellence
- Partner with Account Managers to maintain strong client relationships.
- Respond quickly to operational challenges and client concerns.
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and resources to support daily operations.
- Monitor equipment usage and inventory to maintain operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of landscape management or related industry experience.
- At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of commercial landscape maintenance practices.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop field teams.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to obtain Landscape Technician Certification within six months of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing commercial landscape field operations.
- Experience with Greenius or other landscape management software.
